PhaseSpace | A ritual-tech engine designed to generate immersive flow states through light, sound, symbol and community.

PhaseSpace is a pioneering creative tech project born from the intersection of ritual, neuroscience, and symbolic performance. Developed within The Bristol Creative Co. and prototyped inside Club395, it is a coherence engine — a system that combines spatial design, responsive lighting, soundscapes, symbolic glyphs, and communal participation to trigger states of creative flow, emotional regulation, and group resonance.

This project responds to a deep need in both the club scene and the wellness world: spaces where people can reconnect with themselves and each other, without being over-stimulated or isolated. Rooted in neuroaesthetic principles and biofeedback loops, PhaseSpace integrates tools like DMX light mapping, modular audio-reactive systems, and ritual choreography to create immersive sessions that support wellness, presence, and collective intelligence.

It’s also a framework for artist-technologist collaboration: DJs, coders, sound designers, ritualists, and performers are invited to co-create new sequences within the system. Long-term, PhaseSpace will become an open-source symbolic protocol for immersive wellness, community ritual, and co-designed digital-physical experiences.

PhaseSpace v0.1 is currently in pilot phase, with public sessions running at Club395 in July 2025. The project has been submitted to Innovate UK for R&D funding and will form part of our civic tech infrastructure long-term.
